This is a template used in {{tl|Infobox settlement}} and some of the templates of the [[:Category:Geobox|Geobox]] ''series''. It only translates the coordinates related parameters from the Geoboxes to the {{tl|coord}} templates which handles the actual display and therefore it shouldn't be used on its own.

It displays coordinates and the appropriate wikimap link from various styles of input (can be classic with deg, min and sec or decimal with NSWE or decimal with negative values for S and W hemispheres). Additional formatting parameters can be used: to display the coordinates in title to, to display decimally-entered values as classic DMS values and vice-versa.
