This template should be used for press sources which discuss Wikipedia as a project, and links the article's talk page to [[Wikipedia:Press coverage]]. If a press source mentions a specific Wikipedia article, use {{tl|Online source}} instead, which links to [[Wikipedia:Wikipedia as a press source]].

This template automatically adds articles to [[:Category:Wikipedia as a media topic]].

This template takes the following input:

An optional unnamed parameter allows you to customize the name of the link to [[Wikipedia:Press coverage]]. For example, it may be more accurate to read "mentioned unfavorably", in case the original article becomes unavailable.

The <code>|subject=</code> parameter is optional and will display "''this article has been mentioned...''". Set <code>|subject=template</code> to display "''this template has been mentioned...''" and so on.

Use <code>|collapsed=yes</code> for a collapsed default display. To include additional sources, affix a number greater than 1 (2, 3, etc.) to additional parameters. Up to 30 sources can be added to the template.
