This template is used for showing templates and their properties in a table.
=== Usage ===

There are three related templates:
* {{tl|tlrowtop}}— Start the template list
* {{tl|tlrow}}— Template row entry
* {{tl|end}}— End the list

The template requires one unnamed parameter for the name of the template:
* {{tlx|tlrow|template name}}

=== Optional parameters ===
* {{para|category}} adds a link to the template category.
* {{para|notes}} adds notes.
* {{para|demolevel}} allows protection templates to be displayed even when the page is not protected; use <code>sysop</code> or <code>autoconfirmed</code> depending on the template.
* {{para|subst}} allows bypassing of the substitution check on some substitute only templates; use <code>nosubst</code> as the value.

=== Category suppression ===
Some templates automatically place the page where it is used into a category. These categories are not appropriate for pages such as lists, so some templates support a feature to suppress the automatic category. This template automatically invokes category suppression for templates that use these methods:
* {{para|nocat|true}}
* {{para|category}}
* {{para|categories|no}}
