Usage

(Despite the notice, this particular template should not be substituted! I hope this isn't too confusing...)
This template should be placed on the documentation subpage (not the template page itself) of any template that needs to be substituted rather than transcluded.
Tagged templates are added to Category:Wikipedia substituted templates.
- Parameters
|auto=yes/no: If set to yes, change the notice to state that the template is automatically substed. Default to no.

- {{subst check top}}、{{subst check bottom}}: Same purpose, but used as a pair.
- {{subst only}}: For the doc of the above templates; prints a message asking for it be substituted.
- {{nosubst}}: The reverse of {{subst only}}. For the doc of templates which should not be substituted; prints a message asking for it not to be substituted.
- {{issubst}}: Returns "yes" if substituted.
- {{ifsubst}}: Forks if substituted or not.
