Usage
- This redirect category (Rcat) template populates both Category:Redirects from titles without diacritics and Category:Unprintworthy redirects. At some point in the future, Jimmy Wales wants to make a printed version of the full Wikipedia encyclopedia, and names without diacritic symbols are not suitable for a printed version. In other words, titles without diacritics are considered "unprintworthy", and that is why the Unprintworthy redirects category is also populated by default.
- Add this Rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT [[(Target page name)]] {{R from title without diacritics}}
- This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
- Template {{This is a redirect}} may also be used to add this and other appropriate Rcats to a redirect.
- Use this Rcat on any redirect to an article title that has diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.).
