Usage
- This redirect category (Rcat) template populates both Category:Redirects from titles with ASCII and Category:Unprintworthy redirects. At some point in the future, Jimmy Wales wants to make a printed version of the full Wikipedia encyclopedia, and the many ASCII characters are not suitable for a printed version. In other words, those many computer-code symbols are "unprintworthy".
- Add this Rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT [[(Target page name)]] {{R from ASCII}}
- This is in accord with instructions found at Wikipedia:REDCAT.
- Template {{This is a redirect}} may also be used to add this and other appropriate Rcats to a redirect.
- Use this Rcat on any redirect from a title in basic ASCII to the formal article title, with differences that are not diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.).
- {{Redirect from ASCII}} redirects here and may also be used.
